Questions about felt products and ordering

The questions buyers ask us most often about felt, recycled content and ordering.

Material and sustainability

What is rPET felt?

Felt made of polyester fibre recovered from post-consumer PET, mostly bottles, then needle-punched into a non-woven fabric.

Is felt eco-friendly?

That phrase alone says little, and in the EU it can no longer be used without proof towards consumers. Specific facts are better: recycled content, a certified chain of custody, long use. Felt also has limits: polyester sheds fibres, and textile recycling is still limited.

Is felt biodegradable?

Polyester felt, including rPET, is not biodegradable. Wool felt is a natural fibre, but dyes and blends affect its end of life.

Can felt products be recycled?

In theory, polyester is recyclable; in practice, few facilities accept used felt products, particularly with print or trim. We do not claim products are “recyclable” unless collection really exists.

Is felt durable?

For bags, sleeves and mats, yes, when the thickness and construction are right. Felt can pill with friction and it does not like hot washes.

Ordering

What is the minimum order?

The factory minimum for catalogue products, and usually from 100 pcs per model with your logo.

Can I get a sample?

Yes, within 7–14 days; the sample cost is credited against the order when agreed.

Do you sell to private customers?

No, we work with companies and institutions only.

How do I pay?

Bank transfer to our Polish company: usually 30–50 % at order and the balance before shipping.

Delivery and documents

How long does it take?

Typically 6–10 weeks: 15–35 days of production and 25–45 days by rail or sea.

Which countries do you deliver to?

All EU countries, the UK, Switzerland and Norway.

Which certificates can you provide?

It depends on the product and the factory: for example a transaction certificate for recycled content, OEKO-TEX for materials, EN 71 for toys, EN 13501-1 and ISO 354 for panels. We confirm what is available before you order.

What must be on the label?

Usually fibre composition, manufacturer and EU responsible person details, batch number and care instructions. It varies by product.
